Pearce Taylor was born in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and was raised in Deland, Florida. It was in Deland that during high school Pearce played football, weightlifted, and was a cheerleader.
Pearce received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, in May 2012. While at the University of Central Florida, Pearce was a member of the Varsity cheerleading team. He then attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where he achieved his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in May 2015. While in law school, Pearce participated in multiple committees and student organizations and competed for the top-ranked moot court team in the nation.
Following law school, Pearce was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, and is licensed to practice in all Georgia State Courts as well as the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He also is a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia and a graduate of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy.
Pearce is an insurance defense litigator, representing employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia.
Pearce enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Julia and son Barrett. Pearce also enjoys playing with his two dogs, Kimber and Benelli, watching football, attending Braves games, hiking, camping, and kayaking.
